On July 10, Heartless World is presents a showcase of talented artists from the Bay Area. Come through, it’s free, doors open at 8, show starts at 9.
The homie, Rizzy, just got on a song with Scrappy, 2 Chainz, and Twista. Apparently, it premiered on MTV. It’s definitely cool to see people you graduated with getting up in the world.
If you’re out in San Francisco, come out to Milk Bar and support!
The Jealous Guys are talented, get hip.
The homie A-1 dropped the music video, Winning 2, this past week. Been waiting on this since I heard it at the Heartless World showcase.
I’m not the biggest fan of A$AP Rocky, but you I really have to commend the dude for creating an image for himself, different from what is presented to most audiences these days. His persistence and consistency is pretty on point. Oh yeah, respect to Black Scale, their sales must have skyrocketed since A$AP’s emergence in the public eye.
Made a last minute decision to hit up the Curren$y and Dom Kennedy show at the Fox Theater in Pomona. I’ve seen Dom live about five times and this one is by far the best, likely due to the fact that he can bring people he’s made music with like Casey Veggies and Carter to perform CDC. Seeing Curren$y perform live was a first, but a good one at that, performing some favorites as well as bringing Fiend, Roddy, and Trademark out with him. The opening acts were pretty dope, Pomona’s got bars. Apologies to the first few, I only got the camera settings right halfway in. More…
The inspiration behind the Well Qualified tee. Just thought you should know.
