Unpredictable weather today. Sunshine, rain, sunshine again, clouds, then heavy thunderstorms. During the cloudy, somewhat calm weather, I journeyed through the city and hit up a couple of spots. I ended up going to New Jack City to look at some vintage wear, Benny Gold to see what new designs he had going on, and Haight… just to be in Haight.

This is the area I go to school at, the place where torture myself with all nighters. This is the area I tried to find a place at with my friends, unfortunately, it’s toooo damn expensive. This is the area where I tried to intern at Hypebeast, but they just couldn’t work with my schedule.

Started the day off early and watched Hunger Games, movies are only $6 before 12. I’ve never read the books, but I was impressed nonetheless. The themes and concepts were interesting and so was seeing characters being pushed to extremes. Reminded me of Battle Royale but not as gory. After a while, met up with a homegirl and had some lunch and chopped it up. It’s cool to see where people are headed after things like college graduation and all that. Went home, rested, laced some friends up with those free tees that I had made and we skated, well, I mainly walked, around the city. My balance is off, don’t judge me. Oh yeah, and Instagram for Android needs to exist. More…

Was really tempted to sleep in after last night, but work awaited me. Had to shoot a couple of photos for a friend of mine. Don’t know if he wants those released, but they turned out dope. We shot the photos in Dolores park, swung by Blackscale, and kicked it for a bit. Then headed out to meet up with Ontask and hit the All Gone book release at UNDEFEATED. Those tees tho. More…

40/365: Heartless World Showcase

Heartless World puts on showcases as a platform for artists to gain recognition, connect, and build, or in other words, “Make fans and make friends.” It was an ill show, plenty of talent that’s guaranteed to catch some attention. Those in attendance include Mad Flows, Ant Bankx, J-Billion, A-1, Mike-Dash-E, Jay Ant, Show Banga, Ray Guevara & Justinkase, Armani Cooper, and C-Plus. The hard work definitely shows, best of luck to all that performed. More…

After two or so days of rain, the weather started to ease up. The sun finally came out, a perfect day just to roam the city. San Francisco is such a great place, filled with diversity. Japantown is definitely a favorite, I might be a little bias, seeing as how I’ve lived there before, and Haight. More…
